Stowe is a remote recreational/vacation designation a small town/village. By car 6.5 hour drive to New York, 3.5 hours Boston.

A free staff shuttle will bring you to and from work each day only. One free meal offered during shift. Staff shuttle will make a trip to town each week for groceries and banking. During your time off from work you can enjoy free skiing and snowboarding. There are some small grocery (food) stores in the village that is on the shuttle route, as well as a small food mart located in the housing complex. No public transportation in summer, participants normally walk or bike to get around.
It gets very cold in Vermont during the winter. Everyone will need a pair of winter boots. These boots should be waterproof, have a good tread on the bottom and come up to at least your mid calf area. Plan accordingly for snow and cold weather.

Housing Details
Dorm style housing, bedrooms will be shared 4 people, of same gender, per room.
The common areas (kitchen, living room, bathrooms) will be shared by everyone in the unit.
There is coin operated laundry on site. Wireless internet is also available. Please plan on bringing towels and toiletries.
Housing is diverse with employees from countries all over the world living together in employee housing. Cleaning is completed and shared by all tenants in housing.
The cost of housing is an estimated $260 to $290 every two weeks.
There is also a $200 security deposit that is returned to you provided you leave your housing in the same condition it was in when you arrived. You must plan to bring $440 or $465 (if in a room with bathroom) in cash with you when you arrive for 2 weeks rent and the security deposit. This is due upon move in.
Arrival
Arrive to New York City take Amtrak from NYC to Waterbury, Vermont. With proper notice the hotel will have a taxi pick up. If a participant arrives without proper notice or to Burlington Airport the participant is responsible for paying the taxi fee.
