About The Location
Key West is an island at the end of the chain of the Florida Keys. It connects to the mainland (Miami) by US Highway 1 which uses a series of bridges to link the islands of the change (a 4 hour drive from Miami). It is a popular vacation destination which gives visitors the feeling of the Caribbean without leaving the USA., about a 4 hour drive from Miami Florida.
Key West is a small island, just two miles by four miles. Just about everything is a short walk or bicycle ride away. Limited public transportation is also available; however bus schedules are very limited. Many participants purchase bicycles to get to and from work or simply walk.

Covid-19 test will be required within two days of arriving to the US. Cost of test may be reimbursed.
Participant will need to bring or purchase pants and non-skid shoes, more uniform details to come upon hire. Shoes can be ordered upon arrival.

Culinary $18 per hour
Front Office $16 per hour
Housekeeping Supervisor $16 per hour
Food and Beverage $8.98 per hour. Minimum rate guaranteed when in a tipped role.
Housing Details
Shared housing with small shared bedrooms, same gender per unit. Approximately 15 people in a shared 10 bedroom house. Common kitchen, dining space and bathroom to be shared. Rent is $275 per person per paycheck (includes all utilities, cable is not included). Security deposit is $275. Housing is subject to taxation, host will provide more details. Distance from employer 0.7 miles - bicycle with lock provided.
Arrival
Participants are responsible for the cost of transportation from Miami to Key West. The closest major airport is Miami International Airport, located 150 miles north of Key West a 4-hour drive. There is a small airport in Key West with daily shuttle flights to and from several locations in Florida, including Miami, Tampa, and Orlando. You may also travel to Key West via bus from Miami International Airport. Fare and schedule information is available from Greyhound Bus Lines.
