AJ1 is here for you throughout your entire program. You are welcome to contact us anytime during normal business hours: Monday through Friday, 9:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. We are also prepared to assist you outside normal hours should an emergency arise.

Remember to complete the mandatory check in, additionally report to AJ1:

​

  • Any program problems.

  • Serious health problems that could impact your program.

  • The arrival in the U.S. of any dependents.

  • Any international travel.

  • Change in address within 10 days of making such a change.

  • Plans for departure from the U.S.

  • Hospitalization

  • Incidents involving criminal justice system or litigation

  • Incidents involving harassment or abuse

  • Any other incidents involving your health, safety, and well-being

  • Major changes in your personal status such as marriage, divorce, births.

  • Name changes due to marriage, divorce, etc. within 10 days of making such a change

NON-EMERGENCY ISSUES - Do not hesitate to call AJ1 during office hours or send us an email. We can assist with:

  • Loss of your passport (also contact your home country's consulate)

  • Housing concerns

  • Basic legal information

  • Experiencing a theft or nonviolent crime

  • Host organization concerns

  • Social Security or tax problems

  • SEVIS registration
